Fatemeh currently has her books closed for new neurology consult patients but is available for Nerve Conduction and EMG bookings.
Dr Fatemeh Rezania, MD FRACP, completed her training in Neurology at St Vincent’s Hospital, University Hospital Geelong and Western Health and her neuromuscular fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital. She is a Neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist at St Vincent’s Hospital and University Hospital Geelong.
Fatemeh has a strong passion for teaching and research and has published a number of peer-reviewed journal articles. She has recently embarked on a PhD in Neurophysiology at The University of Melbourne.
She has a special interest in management of headache, dizziness and balance disorders and neuromuscular conditions. She also sees patients with other general neurological conditions.
Fatemeh performs electrophysiological studies including nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG).
Fatemeh is also fluent in Persian (Farsi).
She is the recipient of number of awards including Research Endowment Fund (REF) Grant 2022/23; Viola Edith Reid Bequest Scholarship (Medicine Faculty Scholarship; University of Melbourne), Australian Postgraduate Award (APA), Young Investigator Travel Bursary from World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology, British Council’s Chevening Scholarship
