Dr Gayatri Jain
Clinical neurologist and Neurophysiologist.
Dr Jain is a clinical neurologist and neurophysiologist who provides patient centred care for neurological conditions with a specialist interest in neuromuscular conditions and dizziness and balance disorders. She also performs nerve conduction studies and Botox injections for headache.
Dr Jain is the Director of Neurophysiology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. She also runs the Neuromuscular Clinic at the Austin Hospital. She is involved in clinical research and is the principal investigator for trials in motor neurone disease along with other neuromuscular conditions. Dr Jain is regularly involved in medical education as a tutor for Melbourne University and regularly teaches medical students through to specialist physicians’ trainees and fellows.
She obtained her MBBS through the Australian National University and has trained at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and The Austin Hospital before being admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians as a Neurologist. She completed her neurophysiology and neuro-immunology fellowship at the Austin Hospital.
In her spare time she enjoys yoga, walking her dog and watching the Cats win.
